Jeffery Hottman, MD
Dr. Hottman is a specialist in corneal surgery and LASIK/vision correction surgery, cataract surgery and laser surgery. Born in Gettysburg, South Dakota, he earned his bachelor of science degree and medical degree from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. Following an internship at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Dr. Hottman completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha. He continued his training with a fellowship in corneal and refractive surgery at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, and then joined Midwest Eye Care in 1989.

Dr. Hottman was a research investigator for the first generation of excimer lasers in the 1980's and has continued to be a leader in using new refractive surgery technology. Dr. Hottman is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a frequent lecturer for business and civic groups in the area. He is a volunteer physician for the Eye Care America and Hope Medical Outreach Coalition charity programs.
