Dr. Green is a comprehensive optometrist who specializes in primary vision care, contact lens fittings, problem-focused eye examinations, pediatric eye care, urgent eye care, and pre- and post-operative eye examinations.
A native of McCook, Dr. Green earned her bachelor of science degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She earned her doctorate of optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry with honors. During her optometric education, Dr. Green completed externships at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, Draisin Vision Group in Charleston, North Carolina, and Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. After completing optometry school, Dr. Green spent an additional year completing a residency in ocular disease and low vision at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. Prior to joining Midwest Eye Care, Dr. Green practiced optometry in Colorado.
Dr. Green is licensed for the practice of optometry by the state examining boards of Iowa and Nebraska. She is a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
