Dr. Ripa is a specialist in cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, external eye and corneal disease, LASIK and PRK surgery, and the medical and surgical treatment of eye disease.
A native of Nebraska, Dr. Ripa earned her undergraduate and medical degree from St. Louis University in Missouri. Dr. Ripa completed a one-year internship in internal medicine at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis and a three-year residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. She completed her formal medical training with a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Ripa is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is licensed to practice medicine in Nebraska and Iowa.
