Dr. Steve Samuelson is originally from Kearney, Nebraska. He graduated from Kearney State College and received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha. He completed a one year internship in internal medicine at Creighton University followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska. He completed a fellowship in anterior segment surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and then was fortunate to join Dr. Greg Haskins to form the Fremont Eye Associates in 1990.
Dr. Samuelson is a comprehensive board certified ophthalmologist, performing eye exams, prescribing glasses and contact lenses and treating eye diseases including glaucoma, corneal and diabetic eye disease.

Dr. Samuelson is happily married to Celeste. They enjoy spending time with their children; Nate, Luke and Rachel. Dr. Samuelson also has been known to chase a little white ball around a golf course.
